Recently, Amber Herr and I spent several days in Atlanta for the 2024 PFS National Convention. The energy was palpable. From connecting with Financial Advisors and coaches we'd only met and trained with online to reconnecting with our teammates across the US, the experience was powerful. I am incredibly grateful for my wife, and the opportunity to support her in this venture. And it makes sense. We're both engineers and business minded professionals. Traveling comes with it the horrible byproduct of constantly feeling like you can't keep up. I've been out of the office multiple days each week for the past month. How people make it happen without going crazy is wild.

Fusion is one of those technologies that could promise the moon.We've been hearing about the developments lately, but for those of us closer to it, we inherently know how far away we still are.From the internationally funded and operated ITER project in Southern France to private industries, the funding in support of Fusion is north of $6 Billion.I had the pleasure of listening to a presentation from one of Commonwealth Fusion System's lead engineers about their technology back in October.This is definitely a private company to pay attention to. They have an all-star team of MIT grads and more.The real question is, "What do not know yet that we need to know?" Spent some time today with my wife, Amber Herr, working a fundraising concessions at the Kansas City Monarchs game. It was a perfect day for baseball.Even though we weren't by ourselves, it was nice to still enjoy a few moments together with no worries.Cherish your wives, men. 😉

Just spent a couple days visiting Oak Ridge National Laboratory's Fusion and Fission at ORNL team. Visiting is becoming a pattern now and I am planning on returning.It is so beautiful here. Thank you for inviting me to stay at the Guest House! The conversations I had with fellow guests, visiting Physicists, Chemists, Vendors, and more were fantastic!
